Who Qualifies for Hospice?

Hospice may be appropriate if you or a loved one has:

Terminal illness with life expectancy of 6 months or less
Patient chooses comfort over curative treatment
Advanced cancer, heart disease, or lung disease
End-stage dementia or Alzheimer's disease
Kidney or liver failure
ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) or other neurological conditions
Physician certification of terminal prognosis
Desire to remain at home with loved ones

Medicare & Insurance Coverage

Hospice is fully covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance plans. There is no cost to you for hospice services, medications related to the terminal illness, medical equipment, or supplies. We handle all billing and authorization.
